Bill moved from a small Illinois farm town to Chicago in 1984 and hit
the leather bars running. He has given support to his community through
participation in the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, Gay Men’s Heath Studies,
and the Leather Archives mortgage donor program. During the Chicago
winters, he enjoys playing men’s volleyball. Bill is single and
currently a mainframe computer operations analyst for a Chicago economic
consulting firm.
The 2003 Leatherboy currently resides in the
Midwest. He has traveled extensively over the past
several years. He has supported several AIDS related
charities in the Midwest region of the country and
the American Diabetes Association that has affected
many of his family members.
His platform for his title year was, "Be a Mentor - Support
a Mentor".
