Phil Nickerson

While residing in Iowa, Phil Nickerson served three years on the Rapids
AIDS Project Advisory Board of Directors, a program of the Grant Wood
Chapter of the American Red Cross, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He participated
extensively in fundraising events and HIV/AIDS outreach/education
programs. He was also a volunteer for the Gay and Lesbian Resource
Center of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he served on the Board of Directors
and edited a monthly newsletter. Phil served on the Cedar Rapids Gay
Pride Festival Planning committee and solicited/organized political
speakers for the festival each year. In San Francisco, Phil was Judges'
boy for the Mr. San Francisco Leather 2005 Contest. He has volunteered
to help out at various fundraisers as needed... "I suspect I'll be on
my knees a lot over the course of the next year selling raffle
tickets". He is not affiliated with any specific non-profit
organization yet. Phil is also a Voting Member of the Leather Archives & Museum.
