Since his introduction into the leather lifestyle, Dan has taken a lead role,
not only in giving back to his community, but becoming involved in the
direction in which he sees the community going. He has been and continues
to be a presenter/educator, chairman, board member, titleholder, and general
volunteer. He is currently South Central LeatherSIR 2004, past Dallas
Leather Sir 2003, and previous Mr. Texas Leather 2001. He presides on the
board for Flesh and Fantasy 2004, which will be held in Dallas, Texas in
January 2005. He is a past Co-Chairman for Beyond Vanilla 12 and 13 and
has sat on the board of directors for Ballet Dallas. Dan was a presenter
and educator at Beyond Vanilla 11, 12 and 13, as well as at South Plains
Leather Fest 2001-2004. He has educated individuals in workshops on B
reath Control, Rough Body Play, Single Tails, and "You Want To Be A
Title Holder". He has also played an active role in Ms. World Leather
for the past three years, along with Gay Pride Dallas and Gay Pride
Toronto. Dan is working to identify the leaders of tomorrow and work
in conjunction with Leather By Boots, Dallas and other groups through
out the U.S. on informing and educating up and coming titleholders.

Dallas, Texas, USA
boy ed was born in Chicago and attended school at the University of
Oklahoma. He has worked in the airline industry since 1984. He has
lived in Illinois, Oklahoma, St. Louis, Northern Virginia and
currently resides in Dallas, Texas. boy ed's first exposure to the
Leather Community was from a cousin in Chicago, and then again by
a roommate in St. Louis in 1988/89. In 2002, he joined the
Dallas boys of Leather, first as historian, and now the current
chairman. He is also a member of NLA-Dallas and NLA-International
and recently attended training to become a deputy registrar for
Dallas County voter registration. In September of 2003, boy ed
won the Title of Dallas Leatherboy, then in May of 2004 won the
Title of South Central Leatherboy. He has served as judge's boy
for Mr. Texas Leather, Mr. & Ms. South Plains, and Sooner State.
He has also been the assistant tally master for both
International Deaf Leather and Ms. World, boy ed has attended
boys training camp 5 and 6, and is currently the assistant to
the program chair for Beyond Vanilla 14, a pansexual event
presented by NLA-Dallas in late October, boy ed is currently
collared by Daddy Mike of Dallas, whom he met at the
International Puppy Contest in 2002.
