Bio
(photo: BullmanX) Dexter Edmond (contact) Sir Dexter Edmond is the current International LeatherSIR and has had an active interest in leather since childhood. He has enjoyed being a proud leatherman and active gay BDSM fetishist in his adulthood. Sir Dexter has always felt a natural connection with Old Guard leather and views it as an attitude and respectable way of life that lives and breathes through those who believe in it. He also believes that the next generation has something to offer the community, and he enjoys sharing experiences, skills, and knowledge, both in one-on-one situations and group gatherings. Sir Dexter is a member of several organizations: Breeches and Leather Uniform Fanclub (BLUF); the Leather Archives & Museum; Men of ONYX - Southeast; and the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. He is also a friend and supporter of several organizations, including The Conductors (Nashville, TN), Panthers, L/L (Atlanta, GA), the Dallas boys of Leather, and the Toronto boys of Leather, to name a few. In his professional life, he has been an Engineer in the aerospace field for 13 years, and in 2005, he completed his formal training for another passion - massage therapy. His Leather and BDSM interests are varied and include: Old Guard principles; leather and fetish lifestyle education; boots; uniforms; discipline; pain/rough play; cigars; puppy play/training; flogging; spanking; paddling; chains; rope; fisting; water sports; breath control; and intense sex, just to name a few. Parting WordsTo My Leather Family, As we find ourselves in Dallas this weekend, it is time to close another chapter in the International LeatherSIR/boy story. I am proud and honored to have shared this journey with my wonderful International Leatherboy, "Stallion" and an awesome bootblack in our International Community Bootblack, Shawn Patrick Finnerty. This year brought a full spectrum of emotions and experiences, which I will cherish for many years to come. What I will remember most is overcoming the challenges in a positive way that allowed me to grow and to strengthen bonds with those close to me, while adding to my extended leather family. So, I want to take this opportunity to express my thanks to some of the numerous individuals and organizations who have helped make my time as International LeatherSIR such a great experience. Indeed, compiling a list is no easy task, but it is its own reward because it allows for reflection and remembrance of each moment and conversation. Each of the individuals and organizations listed below have a special significance to me in some way. Although I have tried to make the best effort to make this list complete, it never will be truly complete for it is, indeed, a "living" tree. To all who are listed on the following page, I simply say "Thank you," and to those I might have forgotten, please charge the omission to my head and not to my heart. I wish you all the best! In leather and community,
Dexter J. Edmond
