Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA

I have been a resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan for the past six years, moving into the Great Lakes region from Southeastern Idaho. My involvement began with the Leather Community five years ago, although the fascination of the leather lifestyle began long before. In that time, I have attended bar nights for clubs in the Southwest Michigan area and have been to fundraisers held by members of the Leather Community. I have also attended the Mr. Michigan Leather contest, Claw, Great Lakes Leather Alliance Weekend and Mid-States Leather Weekend in Cincinnati. I also hold the title of Michigan LeatherSIR 2005 and am honored to be Great Lakes LeatherSIR for the 2005 title year. As my involvement in the Leather Community has grown, my family has grown. With persons like Douglas Van Kirk as a mentor, and Sir Terry to guide me, I know that I have a great support group and numerous teachers to go to in order to continue to grow, not only as a leather person, but as an individual. I am a creative person by nature and over the past few years, I have been involved in making custom-made slings. I ¹m also a firm believer that you don ¹t always need the local book store for new toys...there is always the corner hardware store to do your shopping. My partner, boy don, and I have been together for four years. Together we plan on continuing our education in the leather lifestyle and look forward to the new avenues that being Great Lakes LeatherSIR and Michigan Leatherboy for 2005 will lead us to. Great Lakes Leatherboy 2005


As a child of a Marine Corps family, core values of honor, loyalty and integrity were a part of everyday life. My first leather experience was when I was stationed in Colorado Springs, CO while serving in the United States Air Force. I was introduced to a light form of leather play. Over time, a seed that had been planted from the past and that experience was slowly and steadily nurtured to encourage the life I live today. Through the physical acts of bondage, flogging, spanking, knife play, pyro-play, rope play, cock and ball torture, fisting, rimming or any form of ass play, I feel the personal connection that does and should exist between a Sir and his boy can only grow stronger. Should I have the honor of representing North America as International Leatherboy, I shall uphold the ideals to which that title carries for promoting diversity and pride in both the Gay and Leather Communities. As International Leatherboy, my intentions are to continue the successful campaigning set forth by previous titleholders, as well as, fold together the traditional protocol of the old with the contemporary thoughts of the new. Had it not been for someone long ago to show me the beat from a different drummer, I would not be on the path I have chosen today.
