Henry is a leatherboy who currently resides in Tucson, AZ and is a
member of the Lone Wolves, Tucson United in Leather, and Desert
Dominion. He has also volunteered in both his local gay men’s
community and trans community, serving as a board member on
multiple projects. For him, blacking is a tradition he has
recently re-discovered. What was once a personal service to his
Daddy has become a tangible historical tradition that can be used
to teach not just bootblacking, but leather history and personal
pride to those who are interested. Historically, Tucson has
lacked spaces for bootblacking and the leather lifestyle. With
the help of the Yard Dog Saloon and Desert Dominion, Henry hopes
to change that. He is always on the hunt for future bootblacks,
and would love to create an army of them to take over the world.
