K.C. (contact)
Florida LeatherSIR 2006

K.C. has been enjoying being a part of the leather community for over ten years. His S/M interests have grown to include water sports, bondage, wrestling, consensual rough, hard sex, spanking and last but not least, fisting. With talents like these, K.C. is a very respected daddy in the Florida community. He was a natural and popular choice to be selected as Mr. Ramrod Daddy 2005.

In addition to his S/M activities, K.C. has been a teacher at the elementary, high school, and community college levels for over seventeen years. He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University, as well as History and Geography undergraduate degrees. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the national honor society for educators.

To further his education and community involvement, K.C. worked in sales at Leatherwerks, Ft. Lauderdale's premier leather store. Sales were up from last year, especially on boy products in 2005, when he worked with Leatherwerks as vendor at International Mr. Leather.

In addition to being a leather man, community volunteer, and educator, K.C. is the proud father of two sons who are fifteen and sixteen years old. He is also proud to be out as a gay leather man to his family. K.C. looks forward to continuing service to the Florida Leather Community and the International Leather Community abroad.

Florida Leatherboy 2006
Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA

I was called into the leather community five years ago when I was living in Chicago, a relocation assigned to me by a design firm I was working for at the time from Miami. What better way to have begun my journey of self discovery and sexual expression than by an invitation to IML by my land lord Jim who lived above me in our duplex. The only description that can sum up his appeal is "a Tom of Finland sketch of a leather daddy lumber jack". I don't know if that can give you a mental image, but if I were Tom, Jim would be in my sketch book in more than one pose...

Jim's invite meant a great deal to me because I had known him for a few months and besides having a crush on him, had grown to greatly respect the man because he was a loving, kind, and generous soul who in his own way took me under his wing and showed me the value of what it truly meant to be a leather man. Without him saying it, I knew by his example it was all heart. He bought me my first leather vest that night at IML, a garment of leather till this day I wear proudly.

When I was once again relocated, this time to Fort Lauderdale, a home to a great number of leather community members. I took it upon myself to get into the leather scene by frequenting Ramrod and befriending several members of there staff. I later became a member of the Ramrod family and took up the position as security. I have also participated in Miami's Aids walk representing leather men and woman and have participated in local fundraisers for those in the leather community who have fallen on hard times.

I am greatly honored and proud to be a participant at the International LeatherSIR/Leatherboy Competition this year.
