Great Lakes Community Bootblack 2008
Riley (Mama's Switch Hitter) is a Chicago-based Leatherman
who proudly served as the Great Lakes Bootblack for 2007. A mild-mannered
university administrator by day, Riley can also be found happily covered
in polish, dye, and grease in several of Chicago's leather bars after
dark. In his spare time, Riley enjoys practicing whipcracking, slowly
learning American Sign Language, and spending time with his leather
family. He also curates the Leather Archives and Museum's pin collection.
Riley is honored to be a 2008 Pantheon of Leather Midwest Regional Award
nominee and looks forward to serving the community for years to come.
