Sir Rob discovered BDSM at 7 while watching classic Star Trek. He began earnestly exploring Leather in Seattle at 21 under the guidance of Leather Daddy Dave Lewis. While in Seattle, he was a member of Seattle Men in Leather, Generic Leather Productions, and the Orcas. He participated in the 1994 Gay Games, earning silver and bronze; he coached swimming and taught biomechanics at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He now lives in Chicago, bartending at The Hole at Jackhammer, Chicago's newest Leather/Fetish Bar. He swims with the Chicago Smelts and is membership chair for the Chicago Hellfire Club.

Joey has lived throughout the U.S., currently residing in Chicago, IL.

Regardless of where he is, joey is always involved in the LGBT and alternative lifestyle communities. Joey was in the Marines Corps, was prior owner of five gay bars and eight Tattoo/Piercing Studios. He has been a professional body piercer for many years and is still part-owner in a shop in Germany and a seasonal shop in Sturgis, SD. Joey has long had a fascination with bikers, their boots, (the taller the better), and their motorcycles. He can usually be seen wearing boots and biker gear.
