Southeast Community Bootblack 2009
chris is a native Floridian who has had an affinity for leather for as long as she can remember but only came out into the public scene in 2005. It was then she feels her real leather journey began. Her owner, Miss Rae, guided her to learn bootblacking and she quickly realized the spiritual and emotional side of this craft. This journey led her to be honored with winning the title of SouthEast Community Bootblack 2009 at Beyond Leather. Winning this title has opened the doors for her to teach Erotic Bootblacking at other events.
In addition, chris and Miss Rae have taught several classes on Rhythmic Beating, Caning, Dungeon Etiquette, Negotiations and Role Play. In addition to being a volunteer for Beyond Leather, she is an active member of Women Of Leather Florida (WOLF), a member of NLA-Central Florida and regularly hosts events at Lifestyle Alternatives Centre (a local BDSM community center). This past year, she was asked to be the bootblack for the Florida Gay Rodeo Association's annual event, the Sunshine Stampede and was asked back for their future events. That weekend brought another invitation to bootblack for the Southeast Police Motorcycle Rodeo fundraiser in April to benefit the families of officers killed or injured in the line of duty. chris has also assisted with fundraisers for NCSF, the Leather Archives and Museum and NLA and was honored to have been asked to be a technical bootblack judge at SouthEast LeatherFest 2009.
She is now looking forward to continuing her journey and having the opportunity to meet more people within the lifestyle. Just as she enjoys teaching, she also loves to learn from others. Sharing knowledge is one of her many passions. Currently, her schedule has her teaching classes at the Woodshed in Orlando and the Fetish Fair Fleamarket in North Carolina.
