Sir Merrill (contact)
Great Lakes LeatherSIR 2009

When SIR Merrill was growing up, He was surrounded by uniformed men as His father was a police officer and EMT. Little did his family know that these early childhood experiences would culminate later in life as a fetish for uniforms, leather, and the deeper meaning they represent to for Him today. He is the current President and is a co-founding member of the Michigan Motormen, which is a social motorcycle club for leathermen and motorcycle enthusiasts, providing local gay men who enjoy the camaraderie and pleasure of leather and motorcycles as a means and purpose of being sharing and spending time together. SIR Merrill is a member of LIFE Detroit and will be actively involved in the organization and development of the 2010 Leather Leadership Conference, which will be held in Detroit, MI. Even prior to being a Leather titleholder, He regularly donated His time and planning skills to Leather events and fund-raisers, and He also provides mentoring and/or training to a variety of boys. Whenever possible, He attends to His garden, which includes many Michigan native species of plants and flowers, which He takes pride in and photographs. SIR Merrill is honored a nd proud to represent the Great Lakes region.
