Sir Hugh Russell
(contact) Shortly after coming out as a Gay man in 1985, Sir Hugh began his exploration of kink. Five years later he joined Seattle Men in Leather, acknowledging his darker side and accepting the traditions of an older generation. He endeavors to pass these on to his boys. Besides SML, he has been a member of the Leather Archives and Museum, BLUF, and Generic Leather Productions of Washington. Sir Hugh puts a strong emphasis on education and has raised funds for the Tony Deblase Scholarship administrated by the Northwest's Pride Foundation. This scholarship benefits students studying sexuality. During his international title year, Sir Hugh extends his efforts to raising funds for the Leather Archives and Museum's Visiting Scholar Program. He has also conducted workshops and demonstrations throughout the United States. Fluent in Italian, Sir Hugh studied the centuries-old art of Leather masking while living in Italy. He enjoys incorporating this tradition into his Leatherplay. He also has a penchant for single tails, impact play, and harbors a serious boot fetish.
