Bootblack Toronto 2002
Head Judge
black, a.k.a. Ian Turner, is a semi-retired bootblack who lives in Toronto. he is the collared boy of Sir Trooper Long of Detroit, and is dedicated to His pleasure. In addition, black has a Top side. If and when Sir Trooper chooses to turn him loose, Ian the Top is fond of floggers, signal whips, clothespins, abrasion, and other twisted activities.
black has engaged in SM since the mid-1970's, and became involved in the organized leather community in 1992. He is a member of Delta International, and was on Delta's Board of Directors for three years, including two years as Chairman. He is an associate member of Chicago Hellfire Club and The 15 Association. He has presented workshops on a variety of topics, including whipping and bootblacking (though not at the same time!). Currently, he is the Head Judge of the Bootblack Toronto Contest, which takes place annually under the auspices of Toronto Leather Pride, which also runs the Mr. Leatherman Toronto Competition.
At MLT 1998, black received the Courtlan Forsey Memorial Award. In 2001, he won the Canadian Award at Pantheon of Leather. At MLT 2002, he became the first Bootblack Toronto titleholder. In June 2007 at the Eastern Canada LeatherSIR/Leatherboy contest, he was awarded the first ECLSb Community Builder Award. In May 2008, he served as a judge at the International Mr. Leather Contest. In November 2010, he was given MLT's David Galbraith Award.
black is a member of Mama's Family, where he has been named "Mama's 1st Canadian Black".

Syr Evan
International Community Bootblack 2009
Evan is a bootblack, minister, and pervert who loves to play with the boys and tease the girls. Also loves to travel the country and share his experiences in presentations and teaching. His active bootblacking and seeing others thrist for the knowledge has extended his passion to teach others the craft and skills of bootblacking and leather care. Evan is honored to be the International Community Bootblack 2009 and Gulf Coast Community Bootblack 2009. Evan spends his time doing community fundraisers, helping upcoming bootblacks and writing a book on Bootblack and leather care history. He is a two time black belt in the traditions of Taekwondo and Judo, loves to read, country dance and so much more. Evan is partner with a wonderful woman: Lady Minx.
He has also had the honor to judge across the country at numerous leather and kink events, enjoys meeting new people and looks forward to reconnecting with old friends. Evan is an active member of DFW Leather Corps, HRC - Human Rights Campaign, Transcending Leather Corps and many more groups.

Lamalani
International Ms. Leather 2009
Lamalani is a life-long Seattle resident and held the titles of Washington State Ms. Leather 2008 and International Ms. Leather 2009. She has been active in the leather community since 1999. Professionally, Lamalani makes hemp bondage rope with Twisted Monk. Lamalani has presented classes on various sex-positive and BDSM topics at Desire Leatherwomen's conference, the Conservatory, Michigan Womyn's Festival, Mistress Shae's Academy in Los Angeles, Portland Bad Girls, Tribal Fire, Lupercalia, Southwest Leather Conference, Queer PlayCon and offers private classes around the Puget Sound area. Lamalani has had the honor of judging Northwest LeatherSIR/boy and Community Bootblack, Mr. and Ms. Oregon State Leather, Oklahoma Mr. Leather, Mr. Boston Leather, San Francisco Leather Daddy, Mr Texas Leather, Mr. Mid-Atlantic Leather, Washington State Mr/Ms Leather, Mid Atlantic Leather Family, American Brotherhood Weekend and Ms. San Francisco Leather contests. She is an enthusiastic practitioner of rope bondage, fire play and roughhousing. Lamalani is a boylesque performer, motorcyclist and percussionist.
Lamalani is International Ms. Leather 2009 and makes bondage rope professionally with Twisted Monk. She has been involved in the leather community for 12 years and hails from the bloodthirsty and bondage-approved Pacific Northwest.

Stephan Palaschak
Southwest Leatherboy 2008
Stephen's journey into leather began at age 23 in Paris, where he lived and worked in the early 90's. Dragged by a friend to the infamous Le Keller bar, he remembers being both terrified and fascinated. By night's end his face was firmly pressed into the sweaty armpits of one hairy Leatherman while another poured beer over his bare butt and spanked him from behind. Suffice it to say he has never looked back...except at the marks!
From PhD studies in French literature at NYU, Stephen moved to Boston where he co-owned Tribal Ways Body Piercing for over 10 years. He currently resides in Phoenix, with his Daddy and the love of his life, Dan Fabrici. Active and visible in the community, Stephen co-emceed the Southwest LeatherSIR/Leatherboy contest the past three years. He has been a member of the Arizona Men of Leather since 2006 and presently serves as Pledge Master.
Pagan spirituality has greatly influenced how he interprets the energy exchange which is fundamental to Leather/Fetish play. Stephen identifies most strongly with the Coyote/Trickster, which he views as the perfect representation of his mischievous boy side, as well as with the notion of homosexuals as Two-spirits–-our very nature being to turn convention on its head.

Master C
Alternate Judge
Master C started his leather journey about 30 years ago. He started out learning as a boy and over the years has progressed to become a Sir and a Master. His first leather Sir taught him about discipline and service. Over the years there have been several Daddy's, Sir's and Masters who have helped to train Master C. Over the years, he has progressed to become a Dominate and is recognized by his local leather tribe as a Master. Since he has progressed to being a Dominate, there have been a number of Sirs and boys who have mentored under his supervision. He currently has two boys in his service and several boys being mentored.
Master C learned the traditional leather lifestyle and has been quite vocal in promoting and instructing our leather traditions. He concentrates on instructing individuals new to the leather community and one on one with other Dominates who wish to learn more. He has specialized in teaching The History of the Leather Community, Leather Protocols, History of the BDSM community and most recent the History of the Leather boy Community.
Master C has been a strong supporter of the bootblack community for many years. He enjoys watching some boy service his boots and when they worship his boots. He has quite a collection of various boots of all types. He enjoys a good boot and a good bootblack.
As a self-described tit freak, Master C has quite the affection for nipple play and tit torture and enjoys teaching TT. He also teaches a number of other various classes. He has taught at various events and cities, including International LeatherSIR/Leatherboy in San Francisco, at the Leather Academy in Ft Lauderdale, and at events and clubs in Dallas, Des Moines, Kansas City and his home community Wichita, Kansas.

digger is ex-army, a true farm boy from north central Ontario and is very active in the leather/bootblack/rubber community for the past 16 years. digger served last year as the boot uncle for the 2010 International Community Bootblack Contest. He is proud to be returning to San Francisco to serve as this year's judge's boy for the ICBB 2011 competition.

Todd Jones
Tally Master
Todd Jones has been active in the leather lifestyle for 10 years. He's a member of three leather families, based in CA, CO, and MA. He is a member of Discipline Corps, a respected male BDSM group in Dallas, TX, where he served as Vice-President in 2005, and as membership chair from 2002 to 2008. He was the first recipient of the "Spirit of the Corp" award given for extensive club and community service to his leather brothers. Todd is also a member of Delta Brotherhood International where he recently completed a 3-year board position and served as the Membership Chair. Todd attends leather events throughout the country, including MAL, Thunder in the Mountains, Southplains Leatherfest, CHC Inferno, Delta, and regional events in Massachusetts and California. Professionally, Todd is a scientific laboratory management and automation consultant and travels extensively throughout the US and Europe (read this as "needs a Sir in every port"). While Todd's work in the leather community is primarily behind-the-scenes, he prides himself for being firstly recognized as a trustworthy and competent BDSM player. Being able to understand and improve one's self through kinky play is an opportunity that too few people in this world have experienced; he is working to change that. On a less serious but important point, Todd builds all his own BDSM equipment and furniture.
