Leathermen, Drag Queens and Bears Oh MY!!

As an honor to my local community I decided to do my first big fund raiser right here in Portland, Oregon.

So Many communities all over are divided into their own little groups and organizations that don't always mesh very well! With this in mind I created an event that involved all facets of the Queer Community because I wanted to show people that even though we are all different and have our own little groups to belong to, we are still one community that can band together giving us more strength than ever.

On St. Valentine's Day 2006. Leather Men, Drag Queens, Trans, Lesbians, Bears and yes even Heterosexuals flocked to Gail's Dirty Duck in Portland Oregon for one purpose... To raise money and support for The Friends of People With AIDS Foundation and the ICBB Travel Fund.

The evening was a huge success thanks to the help of my friends and fellow title holders Oregon Leather Sir 2005 - Daren Macleod, Oregon Leather Boy 2005 - Leo Wink, Ms. Oregon State Leather 2005 - Linda Hale, Mr. Oregon State Leather - Jeff Landis, Oregon Bear 2005 - Doug Watson, Oregon Cub 2005 - Rob Zeiser, Portland Rose Empress XLVII - The Devine Alicioa Day, Portland Rose Emporor XXXII - Mark Hollywood Rose and Boot Black Deb.

To top off this star studded evening we were even paid a special visit by none other than Darcelle XV and Partner Roxy, two very respected contributors to Portland's queer community!

Thank you every one for this opportunity to shine! I couldn't have pulled this off without you!
