Pantheon of Leather 2006:
Heart-Warming Awards in the 'Wintry' City!
Feb 23, 2006 - The frigid Chicago weather was no
match for the warmth at the Pantheon Of Leather Community Service Awards,
presented Sat, Feb 18 at the Leather Archives and Museum.

"The Leather camaraderie, brotherhood and fun inside made the temperature
inside soar to hot, hot, hot!" declared Jay Hemphill, ILSb's Regional
sponsor for Northern California.
"I was honored and thrilled to receive a President's Award, my first
Pantheon Award," says Hemphill.
The annual awards ceremony paid homage to a long list of dedicated leather
community leaders, including Hemphill and other familiar faces in the
International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy family.
The Pantheon selection committee and community members paid tribute to
International LeatherSIR 2004 Robert Davis, bestowing on him both the Man Of
The Year and Community Choice awards.
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Award went to our First Lady Of Leather, Mary
Elizabeth Boyd, ILSb board member and Regional director for Great Lakes and
Great Plains.

Mark Frazier, South Central Regional producer, was honored with a Lifetime
Achievement Award.
Business Person Of The Year was awarded to leathersmith Shannon Short,
designer/owner of SecondSkin Construction Company and partner of ILSb
Co-Producer Lou Molnar.
The Pantheon Of Leather Community Service Awards were part of the Pantheon
Of Leather XVI weekend that included the Cell Block Leatherman 2006 and Mr
and Ms Olympus Leather 2006 contests.
