March 1, 2006, Toronto - The Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2006 Contest Weekend will take place Fri, May 5 through Sun, May 7 in Toronto, Canada.

The Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy Contest is open to leathermen from Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Winners advance to represent the region at the International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest in Atlanta, Georgia in October.

The contest weekend is produced by Brandon Matheson (Eastern Canada LeatherSIR 2004) and Dan Falkenham (Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2004) who today announced the judging panel for the contest, details of an expanded weekend of events and a special guest as contest emcee.

Judges for the Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2006 Contest will be:

• International LeatherSIR 2005 Dexter Edmond;
• International Leatherboy 2005 Mike "Stallion" Fry;
• Mr Leather Montreal 2006 Bo Ladashevska;
• Eastern Canada LeatherSIR 2005 Todd Sweet; and,
• Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2005 Andrew MacDonald.

Tally Master for the contest will be Matt Pavelich of Ottawa, gay press journalist and ECLSB 2005 Tally Master.

The contest will feature special guest emcee Tom Stice, International Slave 1995 and Southeast Mr. Drummer 1998. Tom Stice has judged, emceed, and produced local, Regional, and national leather events and contests. He's the current owner of the International Master and slave Contest and board member for International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest.

Contest weekend events will take place at the contest's Presenting Sponsor, the Black Eagle Toronto and at the Bent Inn. An expanded roster of events will include:

• 'VIB' Reception: "Salute To The Boys" will be a special invitation-only reception on Friday evening as Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy officially toasts the Toronto boys of Leather (TboL). Inquiries about this event can be directed to contestinfo@LeatherSirCanada.com.
• Meet & Greet: Mingle with contestants and judges at the official Meet & Greet that will take place 10pm-2am on Fri, May 5 at the Black Eagle Toronto. There will be a special performance demo by the renowned Master R of Toronto. The evening will also feature bootblack service, shooter boys and prize draws.
• Workshop: "The Master/slave Dynamic" presented by Tom Stice, International Slave 1995. Complete workshop details will be available at a later date at the LeatherSIR Canada website.
• Eastern Canada LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2006 Contest: LeatherSIR and Leatherboy contestants will take to the stage at 11pm on Sat, May 6 at the Black Eagle Toronto. This year's contest theme is "Geared Up" - a focus on leather and fetish gear. Contestants must incorporate this theme into their stage fantasy segment. The evening will also feature the official step-down of Eastern Canada LeatherSIR 2005 Todd Sweet and Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2005 Andrew MacDonald.
• RAUNCH!: The official late-night post-contest dungeon play party will be held at the Bent Inn. Check out the Bent Inn's amazing 800 square foot dungeon at http://www.BentInn.com. • Sizzlin' Sunday BBQ: The contest weekend winds down at Toronto's hottest weekly BBQ for leather, denim and bear lovers! Join us on the Black Eagle patio for the infamous Sizzlin' Sunday BBQ presented by Steve Buczek. Meet and congratulate the new 2006 title holders and say farewell to our visiting out of town guests. The men are hot, the food is fantastic.
