Meet the new Southern California Leatherboy 2006

Apr 29, 2006 - It was all about the boys this year in Southern California for that region's LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest held Apr 22 in Palm Springs..

There were no contestants for the LeatherSIR title, nor any contestants from other cities. but the two boy contestants from Palm Springs, Ron McFerrin and Rick Yarbrough, did their best and each was impressive in his own way. The fantasy scene was the deciding factor.

When it was over, Rick Yarbrough was selected as Southern California Leatherboy 2006.

Rick’s fantasy had the audience in stitches. A bootblack at the Barracks, he is known for his fetish of licking the boots of his customers, so the huge fake red tongue that was part of his act was especially funny.

The contest was held at The Barracks Bar with a Meet & Greet the previous evening. In addition to the contest there was a silent auction managed by Henry Jordan, President of the Palm Springs boys of Leather, with items donated by members of the community. It was quite successful, with one item alone raising $475.

The judges for the contest were Steve Crawford (Mr. Barracks 2005), Alex Lindsay (co-producer of West Coast Rubber and a former San Francisco Leather Daddy’s Boy), International LeatherSIR 2005 Dexter Edmond, Craig Jones President of P.S.L.O.D., and former San Francisco Leather Daddy Don Thompson.

Rick will go on to Dallas in October to compete at the International LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest. He’s not afraid of competing in contests. Rick has held the titles of Seattle Leather Daddy’s boy and Mr. Toolshed in Palm Springs.

The Southern California LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest was produced and directed by International LeatherSIR 2002 Dale Breunig. The emcee was pornstar Rik Jammer.
