Oct 13, 2006, Pittsburgh, PA - Mike Zuhl, President of DCI Productions, is pleased to announce that Rik Newton-Treadway has been appointed as the Executive Producer of the International LeatherSIR and Leatherboy competitions, as well as the International Community Bootblack contest. Rik and his team will be fully responsible for producing the ISLb and ICBB contests for 2007 in Dallas and future ILSb/ICBB contests. Mike will continue to serve as the President of DCI Productions and consultant to Rik Newton-Treadway, concentrating on assistance to the ILSb Regional producers and general administration. The ILSb and ICBB contests will continue to be owned by DCI Productions and Mike Zuhl.

Rik Newton-Treadway has been a member of the ILSb board since DCI Productions was initially formed. He is Maryland Mr. Drummer 1999, and for several years, has produced the Maryland LeatherSIR/Leatherboy contests. He has judged numerous Regional and international leather contests, including Mr. Mid-Atlantic Leather, International Ms. Leather, and Mr. and Ms. World Leather. For the past seven years, Rik has produced the highly successful "Twelve Days of Christmas" fundraiser in his hometown of Baltimore. Rik has been nominated many times and won several Pantheon of Leather Awards and is a member of Mama’s Family.

As the Executive Producer of ILSb and ICBB, Rik is committed to building upon the success of the sold-out event last week in Dallas, where a standing-room-only crowd saw *********** and boy marshall win their titles as International LeatherSIR and Leatherboy 2006, and Henry James win his title as International Community Bootblack 2006. Rik and his team will bring new energy and fresh ideas to the ILSb/ICBB contest systems while respecting the traditions that have carried over from the Drummer days. The 2007 contests will be held, once again, in Dallas, Texas.

Mike is pleased to preside over the transition of this event to Rik, who has been a close friend and advisor for many years. Mike will continue to serve as a "sounding board" for Rik. Rik may be contacted at Rik@LeatherSIR.com.
