Southwest LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2007 ResultsP R E S S R E L E A S E
Jun 23, 2007, Phoenix, AZ - On Saturday, June 16, 2006, a panel of seven judges selected boy Francisco as the new Southwest Leatherboy for 2007 and Michael Villarini as Southwest LeatherSIR 2007, both hailing from the great state of Colorado. The contest was held at Phoenix Eagle during the Southwest Leather Pride 2007 weekend. This year's events were produced by Keith Tomlinson and Don Hilton. The judges for this year's contest were Lauren Ide Ms International Leather 2007, International Leatherboy 2006 boy marshall, International LeatherSIR 2003 Mike Russell, Karen Yew Ms San Diego Leather 2004, Don Gibson Mr Phoenix Eagle 2007 and Slave Nadine International Slave 2003. In addition to the "regular" duties of these titleholders (fundraising, attending leather events and contests, judging, representing the community), they will also be ambassadors for the Southwest portion of the United States. Southwest Leather Pride Weekend is a celebration of the bond of Leather families. It is a weekend filled with great energy and camaraderie which surround the weekend and our leather groups and clubs and businesses.
Southwest Leather Pride 2007 included the Meet 'n Greet at the Bunkhouse Saloon, the pre-contest interview at Phoenix Eagle, the Phoenix boys of Leather Watersports Party at the Bunkhouse, the Southwest LeatherSIR/boy contests and Southwest contest at the Phoenix Eagle, and the Arizona Men of Leather Prison Party at the Bunkhouse Saloon. The Flex provided play parties through out the weekend for all the attendees of the weekend. The Arizona Women of Leather and Arizona Girls of Leather hosted a cigar and cocktail hour at the Phoenix Eagle. The Imperial Court of Arizona were on hand to provide entertainment throughout the weekend. This year the Missionary Order of the Grand Canyon Sisters hosted the Sunday Leather Brunch at the Phoenix Eagle. This years Bob Dejardine Leather Pride Award was awarded to Daddy Wayne of Key Hole Fantasy Wear for his overwhelming support to the leather community in Phoenix.
