Jun 24, 2007, New York, NY - Northeast LeatherSIR/Leatherboy 2007 was held on June 15 at The Eagle of NYC to kick off Leather Pride. The bar had a great turn out to see the contestants compete. The judging panel, comprised of community members and titleholders, included: Sir Cisco, boy ray, Pamela Arlene Loving-Felts, Dana W., Will Clark, and Max of the Leatherman NYC. BlackKat provided a command performance as MC for the evening with Den Daddy, Roger Cruttenden, and Judges boy, cubbyhole, moving the contest along and on schedule. DJ and Michael Gomillion were the Tally Masters and David Palm captured digital images of the evening. During the contest, money was raised for the start of the travel fund featuring a guest appearance by Chardonay Divine that put the crowd in a "give till it hurts" mood. The event was co-produced this year by Scott Coyote and Rick Spencer.

At the conclusion, Bob Snytka was announced Northeast LeatherSIR 2007 and Jeff Bliss was announced Northeast Leatherboy 2007. Among many upcoming travel dates (to be announced), they will be seen on the Eagle of NYC float in the NYC Gay Pride Parade on June 24 and then journey to Baltimore, MD for the Mid-Atlantic Regional LeatherSIR/Leatherboy contest on July 14th to show support for their title family brothers. Sir Bob and boy jeff will represent the Northeast region at the International LeatherSIR/Leatherboy competition in Dallas, TX the weekend of October 4-7, 2007.
