ILSb/ICBB 2009 Celebrates 30 Years of Drummer Traditions

Nov 3, 2009, San Francisco, CA - By all accounts this year's ILSb/ICBB event was an unequivocal success. Well over 500 Leather folk stormed the Hotel Whitcomb in San Francisco this past Halloween weekend to celebrate all things Leather and stoke the spirit of the "Player's Club." There were 4 days filled with parties, workshops, demos, camaraderie, bootblacking, education, auctions and of course the contests. If there were any doubts about the strength and viability of today's Leather community, those doubts were dashed when kinky folks from all walks came together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Drummer tradition. From the kickoff party at Mr. S Thursday evening to the victory party at Stompers Sunday, this was truly a weekend to remember.

The level of competitions and caliber of contestants was, bar none, some of the best seen in recent history, everyone should be proud of their performance. When the scores were tallied the new Titleholders were; International LeatherSIR 2009 - Tony Palazzo of Toronto Canada, International Leatherboy 2009 - Brad Hill of Toronto Canada and International Community Bootblack 2009 - Syr Evan of Dallas Texas.

Sir Tony and boy Brad come from the Eastern Canada region, Syr Evan from the Gulf Coast region.
