May 8, 2006, Sacramento, CA - Sacramento is celebrating the win of Tom Pupp as the Sacramento LeatherSIR 2006 and Mark Olson as Sacramento Leatherboy 2006 at the 5th annual Sacramento LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest this past weekend: May 5-7.

The weekend's festivities started on Friday, May 5, with a Meet and Greet at the Bolt Bar. The Contest occurred on Saturday May 6, from 9:30p.m. - 11:30 p.m. at the The Bolt Bar. The weekend's activities concluded with A Victory Brunch held in conjunction with the monthly pancake breakfast fundraiser of the Sacramento Valley Leathermen held at The Mercantile Saloon on Sunday, May 7.

The LeatherSIR / Leatherboy contest promotes the best of the gay leather community. Community Service is a major focus of the titleholder's activities. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised by the various titleholders in the LeatherSIR / Leatherboy community across the country.

The Sacramento LeatherSIR / Leatherboy 2006 contest was emceed by David Shorey, Sacramento & Northen California Leatherboy 2002. The Judges for the contest were Mike Kelly - Sacramento & Northern California LeatherSIR 2005, Darryl Strohl - Sacramento & Northern California Leatherboy 2005, Daddy Sage, John Yant - Mr. Bolt Leather 2005-2006, and Will Hutchison - Mr. Central California Leather 2006. Contest sponsors were The Bolt Bar, Mom Guess What Newsmagazine, and the Sacramento Valley Leathermen, Inc.
