June 10, 2006 - Philadelphia, PA : Producer Rob Lemakos is proud to announce the new Pennsylvania LeatherSIR and Leatherboy 2006; Ryan Tittel and Justin John Costello, respectively.

The contest was held in Philadelphia at The Bike Stop bar on Saturday, June 10. Running for 90 minutes, each contestant staged a sexy leather fantasy to the theme of Bondage & Restraints, and were evaluated by a panel of judges on their knowledge, “leather image” and their physique in a jockstrap pose down. Ryan ran unopposed and was able to exceed the required 75% of total points to win his title. Justin competed against two others and received the highest score from the judges.

Ryan resides in Marlton, NJ and is an active associate member of the Philadelphians MC and a common face in the Philadelphia Leather Community. Justin, an associate member of The Liberty Bears of Philadelphia is also a member of GMSMA, the Next Generation, on the local committee of Ms. & Mr. World Leather 2006, Bike Stop Pride and event coordination committees and working on the organization of The Bacchae of Philadelphia, a new group of Leather enthusiasts focusing on Education, Activism and Community.

Rounding out the group of contestants was boy luke of New Oxford, PA and Woofboy Al of Croydon, PA. The judging panel was headed by Rob Carabelli, Northeast LeatherSIR 2004 and was comprised of Sir Emanuel, Mid-Altantic LeatherSIR 2005; boy jesse, Pennsylvania Leatherboy 2002; Ms. Jessica and George Peet, Mr. Connecticut Leather 2005.

The winners will represent Pennsylvania at the Mid-Atlantic LeatherSIR/Leatherboy Contest held on July 8 in Baltimore, MD. Regional winners compete at the International LeatherSIR/Leatherboy contest on Columbus Day Weekend in Dallas, Texas. LeatherSIR titleholders promote the gay leather community through community service, fundraising and education. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised by the LeatherSIR/Leatherboy community across North America.

A 50/50 raffle benefiting the Leather Tribe Hurricane Relief Fund and support the titleholders in representing PA was held raising $250.00. Bill Hawk, Mr. Philadelphia Leather 2005 raised $100.00 for the winners’ travel fund during his Hot Ash Party on Friday night and the Philadelphians MC donated $114.00 of their unclaimed 50/50 raffle to the travel fund as well. A special thank you to the Bike Stop for their space and services during the weekend and to the Leatherman in NYC for donating the back patches.
