Apr 18, 2007, Chicago, IL — The Illinois Leather Sir/Leather Boy contests for 2007 will blow back into the Windy City the weekend of June 15 and 16, 2007. This year, we are welcoming the contest back to the city and are looking forward to an exciting weekend. Jackhammer located at 6406 N. Clark St. will be the host bar for the weekend events.

  • Friday, June 15 — Start your weekend off at 10 pm at Jackhammer with a Meet and Greet in the main bar. Come meet your 2007 contestants and their judges.
  • There will be a raffle to help the travel fund for the 2007 contestants hosted by the current Illinois LeatherSIR and Leatherboy, Sir Joee and boy Chris. They as the current Illinois LeatherSIR and Leatherboy will also step down this night.
  • Saturday, June 16 — At 9 pm The Windy City Boys Troop hosts a fundraiser to benefit the NCSF, National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. There will be all kinds of prizes given away as well as raffled off. Come out and show your support.
  • At 10 pm the 2007 Illinois LeatherSIR and Leatherboy contest begins on the main stage at Jackhammer
  • Post contest Meet & Greet will be down stairs in the HOLE to meet your new Illinois LeatherSIR and Leatherboy for 2007

Illinois is part of the Great lakes contest region for LeatherSIR and Leatherboy. The winners of this contest will continue on to Indianapolis to the Great Lakes Leather Alliance weekend. Great Lakes Leather Alliance weekend takes place the weekend of August 24-26 2007. Please see the website for more information, www.GreatlakesLeather.org. The judges list for this year's Illinois contest will be available soon.

Attention contestants: The Theme for this year's contest will be "Men, Muscles, muscleman, biker, motorcycle cop, forced workouts, etc." Please see www.LeatherSIR.com for more information. Applications can be picked up in person at Jackhammer located at 6406 N. Clark St, Chicago IL, starting Thursday April 19 2007.You can also complete and print the application for LeatherSIR or Leatherboy from the GLLA website and turn it in to us. You will find the different segments to the contest on the application. Applications are due Friday June 15th at 9 pm.
