SEATTLE — The Washington LeatherSIR/Leatherboy Contest will be held July 7, 2007 at The Cuff Complex, 1533 13th Avenue, Seattle, WA. Doors open at 6pm, and the evening’s festivities will begin promptly at 7pm. The contest will feature Leathermen, and leatherboys competing and being judged by a panel of judges comprised of Leathermen and leatherboys from the area and national leather communities. LeatherSIRs and leatherboys will compete in the categories of Interview, Leather Image & Speech, Physique and Fantasy.
The Meet-and-Greet will be held on Friday, July 6th, at The Cuff Complex. This the chance for the contestants to display their social skills and ability to work the crowd.
The LeatherSIR & Leatherboy Contest will be held Saturday evening, at The Cuff.
"Last year's event was etraordinarily successful and it was critically acclaimed in every measurable way, and this year's will be even better!" claimed Gene Romaine, Regional Sponsor & Executive Producer of the Washington LeatherSIR, Leatherboy & Community Boot Black Contest.
The Cuff Complex is the Corporate Sponsor of this year’s Washington LeatherSIR / Leatherboy & Community Boot Black Contest. Supporing Sponsor of the contest is Dog House Leathers.
The Judges for the 2006 contest are: Head Judge, Wendell Joost III, Washington LeatherSIR 2006; and judges are: Adam “Buster” Wentzel, Mr. San Diego Leather 2006; Brandon “Puppy Ruffy” Lyon-Nava, Washington Leatherboy 2006; Henry Brown, Washington Community Boot Black 2006; Ms. Candy, Washington State Ms. Leather 2007; and Gylan Green, Washington State Mr. Leather 2007.
The Emcee for this event will be Barry Burns, who has held numerous positions throughout the Portland and Seattle gay and leather communities, including Northwest LeatherSIR 2004.
Den Daddy duties will be handled by John Kelleher, former President of Generic Leather Productions of Washington and past Mr. Gay Seattle. The Tallymasters are boy timm Briggs, former Emperor of the Court of Seattle and Northwest Leatherboy 2004; and Hobbit, President of Seattle Boys of Leather and past-Washington State Ms. Leather.
