Feb 27, 2008, Columbus, OH - We, the Co-Producers of the 2008 "Buckeye State" LeatherSIR & Leatherboy contests, Lady Justice and I welcome you to join us the weekend of May 9-11th at WOOFs in Columbus, OH (visit www.woofscolumbus.com).
We are seeking qualified and interested contestants to compete for these two titles and to represent all of the leather communities of Ohio. If you or someone you know would like to compete in May for the titles of 2008 Sir & boy, please contact Brian or Lady Justice for an application. The completed application and fee of $25.00 must be received no later than May 5th, 2008.
Thanks to our host, Jim Criswell of WOOFs, the contest will begin with a casual "Meet & Greet" on Friday night. Saturday afternoon will be the closed interview sessions and the contest and raffles will be held Saturday night, beginning at 9:00PM. For a separate modest fee (TBD), everyone is then invited back to WOOFs for a pre-sale "Family Brunch" on Sunday at 11:00AM.
The winners of the "Buckeye State" LeatherSir & Leatherboy contests will be the ONLY qualifying and recognized contestants to advance to the next round of competition, representing all of Ohio, at Great Lakes Leather Alliance's regional contests in Indianapolis, in August. The winners at Great Lakes' contests will then advance on to the next level at the International Leather Sir/boy Contests in San Francisco.
We are fortunate to have an amazing panel of judges and contest staff which has already confirmed to be a crucial part of this event. We have leather men and women kind enough to journey to Ohio from three states to select the Sir & boy to best represent us.
Those men and woman are: Daddy Maxx "The Preacher of Leather", Sir JoeE Arteaga "Great Lakes LeatherSIR 2007", Spot "International Bootblack 2007", boy Phil Redmond "2008 IML Judge", Sir Eddy Bowers, Ms. Tina "Co Producer, CLAW". Steve Tompa "Mr. Mountain State Leather 2007" is our Tally Master, with Brian Mincey "Mr. Mid-States Leather 2006" serving as our Den Daddy. The irrepressible Tom Stice will be working his magic on the stage as our emcee.
